  • Sweden’s O.P. Anderson Aquavit begins with a wheat distillate base and then adds caraway, fennel, and anise, before aging their spirits in oak barrels for six months. They’re the best-selling brand in Sweden today, where the iconic spirit is traditionally served as an aperitif. The label was inspired by the mechanical industry of the late 1800’s, when the brand was first created. Extremely savory in its taste profile, we get notes of rustic pumpernickel bread, and highly recommend it as an aperitif.

  • In the early 1900s, the Metaxa distillery was in Piraeus and, like other distilleries of the time, created different styles of alcoholic drinks. Among them, the most popular Greek aperitif: Ouzo. OUZO by METAXA is based on the original recipe of that time, which includes different aromatic seeds of the Mediterranean basin and the rare mastic of Chios island.

  • Bottega Limoncino - 1 liter. Limoncino Bottega is a “limoncello”, traditional Italian liqueur, dating back to the end of the  nineteenth century. It is produced from an infusion of “Femminello” lemon  peel. This cultivar which is widespread in Italy and characterized by a peel with a thin grain and high quality essential oils. This variety of  lemon is called “Femminello” because of the fertility of the plant, which  flowers all year round. The lemons are grown naturally and picked at the peak of ripeness, washed and peeled by hand, removing  the white part (bitter) and only selecting the yellow peel which is rich in  essential oils. The lemon peels are infused in alcohol for about 30 days.  This allows the extraction of the aromatic and coloring substances. The  liquid is then separated from the peel. Finally, sugar and high quality  grappa is added, making this Limoncino unique and unmistakable.
